Americans seem to be aware of the graft, greed and corruption that take the power away from the consent of the governed and give it to the big-money corporations that really pull the strings of our puppet government.

Politicians depend on “campaign contributions” to finance their campaigns, and it’s just not conceivable that large amounts of money given to a politician will not influence legislative decisions, who makes the laws and how they are applied.

Many proposed bills are written entirely by outside agencies and given to a legislator (with a sizeable “campaign contribution”) to see it through various committees to become law.

1 Timothy 6:10 – to paraphrase, the love of money is indeed at the root of evils.

Money is Power, but possession of power doesn’t necessarily lead to the accumulation of wealth, it’s just a matter of how it’s used. With money, especially LOTS of money, it always follows that others will try to get some of it.

Willie Sutton, a famous bank-robber explained, ” . . . because that’s where the money is.”

And the money is our government, the Treasury of the United States of America.
